Mission AARDVARKS concept (Association for Advantages to Rehabilitate Disadvantaged Victims into Adequate, Restructured Kinetics of Society), offers artistic, educational, rehabilitative, residential, spiritual facilities and services to the minorities of brain injured, disadvantaged, handicapped, mentally challenged, terminally ill and underprivileged persons as part of BICEPS, Brain Injury Community Educational Programs and Services. Under aardvarksarts.org, highlights of these lifestyles are offered for sale to the public or donated to other non-profits as fundraising products from our shelter workshop’s expressions. Small home remodel and repair work offered under handiemancan is offered to our clients to make residences handicap accessible, help finance their housing, referral, residential acquisitions, outdoor activities, support groups, & training programs.
With your belief, faith and direction, this will become possible. |
HistoryNovember 13, 1981, this private, Christian non-profit was organized and designed after the late Father Jerald Merrill’s La Morenã for the Guadalupe Schools of Salt Lake City (guadalupe_schools.org), and the Delancy Street Project of San Francisco (delanceystreetfoundation.org).
Phase one was to establish networking for programs with brain injury associations, clinics, government and private care centers, insurance companies, vocational rehabilitation offices, homes for the terminally ill and handicapped, and the general public: to begin accessing programs to persons for various abusive, acquired, rehabilitative and terminal characteristics. Phase two was to find and/or renovate affordable housing to establish homes for those in our care and spaces for our office space, their recreational therapy, rehabilitation, shelter workshops and volunteer space. Phase three IS now to purchase and renovate a suitable location in order to consolidate and establish a common and permanent entity for education, fundraising, food service, and shelter gift shop area that would provide employment for handicaps, and constant and reliable, self sufficient funding for the project. |
